Phony contractor allegedly scammed elderly flood victim out of $28K

A con-tractor running away with someone’s money is bad enough, but it’s especially despicable when the person was elderly and a victim of a flood. This happened with Baton Rouge-based contractor Renard Allen of DHA Enterprise LLC.

He offered an elderly person whose home was damaged by a flood to repair it. After the person payed over $28,000, Allen ghosted him after only two weeks. Not only that, but he was not a licensed contractor. Now, he’s in serious trouble.
